Scope:
The Celonis Digital Asset Management system is a repository for all creative assets. It supports various departments with ready-made solutions tailored to specific needs. This is a working concept I developed at Celonis as part of a rebranding initiative.
Contribution:
After extensive research into similar tools, including popular search engines, I sketched user flow storyboards, created wireframes, and produced low-fidelity mockups before creating high-fidelity mockups and user flows. I used Adobe XD to create mockups and user flow prototypes.
Design rationale:
Collaborating with the head of UX/UI and the team, I distilled the key needs for this tool. These included preserving the original tool's various search capabilities while rebranding the user interface and any supporting graphical elements.
Achievement:
Identified key user experience issues and suggested a streamlined solution depicted by mockups and prototypes. Rebranded the DAM system with current branding, colors, shapes, and overall aesthetic. Simplified UI visuals and structure. Re-architected user flows when searching for content.
CeloDAM User-flow By Tag - Prototype 1
This prototype features search refinement using the "By Tag" matrix to visually identify what to search for in the search field.
CeloDAM User-flow By Tag - Prototype 2
One can search through one of the "By Tag" sub-category items in this prototype.
CeloDAM User-flow By Tag - Prototype 3
This prototype is similar to the first. However, it features an additional drop-down for more refinement.
