Overview
I developed a rebranded UX/UI concept for CeloDAM, Celonis’ internal digital asset management system. The project included logo exploration, splash screen design, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes intended to modernize the tool and improve how teams searched for and accessed creative assets.
Challenge
The existing DAM system needed to preserve its search capabilities while feeling more aligned with the updated Celonis brand. The challenge was to simplify the interface, improve search refinement, and create a branded experience that could better support users across departments.
My Role
I researched comparable tools, sketched user-flow storyboards, created wireframes, developed low- and high-fidelity mockups, and built interactive prototypes in Adobe XD. I collaborated with senior leadership, the head of UX/UI, and team members to refine the direction and align the concept with rebrand goals.
Design Approach
I focused on simplifying the visual structure, reworking search flows, and applying updated brand elements such as color, shape, typography, and interface styling. The prototypes explored different ways users could search by tag, refine results, and navigate asset categories more efficiently.
CeloDAM User-flow By Tag - Prototype 1
This prototype features search refinement using the "By Tag" matrix to visually identify what to search for in the search field.
CeloDAM User-flow By Tag - Prototype 2
One can search through one of the "By Tag" sub-category items in this prototype.
CeloDAM User-flow By Tag - Prototype 3
This prototype is similar to the first. However, it features an additional drop-down for more refinement.
Achievement
Identified key user experience issues and suggested a streamlined solution depicted by mockups and prototypes. Rebranded the DAM system with current branding, colors, shapes, and overall aesthetic. Simplified UI visuals and structure. Re-architected user flows when searching for content.
